VETERAN’S DAY

Every year, Veterans Day gives us a moment to pause — to remember the men and women who stepped forward, knowing full well what that commitment might cost.

For me, service wasn’t just a chapter — it shaped everything that came after. From my years as a Navy Rescue Swimmer to standing on top of Everest and descending blind, the lessons are the same: faith, preparation, and the will to keep moving when everything says stop.

This day isn’t about medals or ranks. It’s about sacrifice, unity, and purpose — about choosing something bigger than ourselves. And for those who still carry unseen wounds, you’re not forgotten. You’re still part of the team.

As we honor our veterans, I encourage you to reach out to someone who served — not to thank them for their service, but to ask about their story. Because in those stories, we find the best of who we are as a nation.
